When Urban Community School expanded its Ohio City campus to include the new Thomas Jeckering Middle School, Natalie was asked to design a donor recognition wall for their “Better Starts Here” campaign.

Inspired by the visual concept of a colorful abacus, the installation addresses the unique challenge of a curved wall by mounting recognition panels to vertical bars rather than the wall itself. Panels vary in size and finish to denote giving levels, and blank panels were integrated for future updates, using removable face plates for easy replacement.

With a bright, primary palette that reflects the school’s brand colors, the composition feels youthful for a middle school setting, yet dignified enough to honor Urban’s generous community.
